Laborer | Route Helper

Castle Tire || Laborer / Parachute Driver Helper $17 - $19/hour OT over 40 hours worked
As the Parachute Route Helper, you will be working locally every day. You may be flown to locations that need help for 1-to-2 weeks and paid at a premium rate.

• No overnight stays in the truck, lodging is booked for you!
• Must be willing to travel within our network and support out-of-town routes in the West. Notice of travel will be given in advance with per diems paid.

What to Expect:
The General Laborer position involves performing a variety of tasks in all aspects of the plant’s functions and assisting the plant manager with other duties such as:

• _

Route Helper: _ You will ride with a professional CDL driver and assist them with curbside collection

• Processor: You will work with a team to hand unload tires from incoming trailers onto a conveyor belt for processing
• Tire Grade: You will work with the grade team to inspect tires for defects and hand load customer trailers

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age

• Legally able to work in the United States
• Previous experience in a similar work environment
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
• Must be able to work in elements of weather
• Physical requirements: while performing the duties of the job is to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, lift, push, pull, carry, and manipulate large and heavy tires up to 150 lbs
