Industrial Maintenance

Position

· Full-time – 40 Hours a week

· Overtime seasonably available (may be required during busy season)

Position Overview

This maintenance person will be part of a 3-person team responsible for maintaining every area of production. This will include #1 responding with urgency to any immediate issues holding up any of our production lines, #2 preventative maintenance, #3 helping improve equipment usability and flow. This team is responsible for maintaining all buildings (3x), compressors, forklifts, production line equipment, concrete mixing, concrete batching, hydraulics, and much more. This is NOT an office position. There will be some record keeping activities, but this is an on-the-production-floor, dynamic, changing position.

Daily Activities & Responsibilities

• Daily & weekly inspections of equipment
• Preventative maintenance (lubing, oil changes, cleaning filter, visual inspections, etc.)
• Real-time diagnosing & repairs when something breaks on the production line
• Working with each department to fix issues as they arise
• Building work orders
• Responding to & closing out work orders with detailed notes
• Responding to operator’s vehicle inspections
• Critical thinking with a
• Communicating with others in an open, upfront, and timely manner
• Balancing cost-effective solutions with quality output
• Constantly improving workflows
• Being available across the entire site, end-to-end, daily (addressing quality, performance, problems, wins, 6S, safety, etc.)
• Setting an example of how things get done
• Working with vendors
• Maintaining a safe and healthy workplace

Our Ideal Candidate

· Has previous industrial maintenance or heavy equipment experience

· Demonstrates an ability to make sound decisions and find answers even in the absence of complete information

· Has a sense of urgency

· Is able to communicate complex situations to leadership

· Ability to read & understand production equipment manuals, specifications, production costing issues, product quality specifications

· Must be able to work under pressure with tight schedules and under stressful situations

· Is looking for a long-term career at a growing company

Requirements

· Legal to work in the USA

· Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking)

· Reliable transportation to and from work

· Lives within reasonable commuting distance

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
