Solar’s Summer MBA Internship is an 8 to 10-week position supporting Solar’s Strategic Growth groups. It is designed as a feeder into a full-time positing in Strategic Growth or Marketing. As a Summer MBA Intern, you will be responsible for: • Development of high-quality strategic and financial recommendations • Gathering of qualitative and quantitative data from publicly available sources, subscribed databases, expert interviews, and internal Solar Turbines and Caterpillar business units. • Integrating, analyzing and summarizing the above data to derive insightful conclusions that maximize business impact and support strategic decision making. • Development of detailed financial models to support strategic recommendations, support M&A or VC transactions, or to supplement business unit finance analysis. • Creating models, report and presentations to clearly communicate strategic and financial recommendations and supporting data to senior stakeholders. Minimum Qualifications Currently in the process of obtaining a Masters in Business Administration Must be classified by school in Fall 2023 as one of the following: Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Graduate student 3.0 GPA or higher on a 4.0 scale. 0-5 years of relevant experience. Must be able and willing to relocate to San Diego, CA. Compensation: The hourly compensation for this role is $34.50/hr. There is no sponsorship available for this role.
