If so, we have a great opportunity for you to join the Construction Digital and Technology (CD&T) team in the Automation & Autonomy Division as a New Product Introduction (NPI) Team Leader. CD&T's mission is to make our customers more productive & safer by driving the digital transformation at their jobsites, ultimately leading the industry to the autonomous jobsite. This means helping customers maximize their equipment and site operations through a portfolio of digital and technology solutions. Included in this are the on-machine technologies developed by the machine teams as well as the off-machine equipment and productivity management digital solutions and remote-control technology from CD&T. Foundational to the role is leading the end-to-end NPI teams and deliverables for the remote control, Cat Command, portfolio. This position takes responsibility for the overall leadership of the program, from day-to-day execution, risk and resource management across on-board and off-board development, marketing and go-to-market, dealer development, and product support disciplines for the construction industry. As the NPI Team Leader, you will play a vital role to provide multi-functional NPI team leadership for the Cat Command portfolio, delivering solutions that drive services revenue growth. This role is both strategic and tactical. The successful candidate will be accountable to work with the extended enterprise team to craft, own and execute the product strategy for the CI COMMAND Universal Remote Control product portfolio including station, consoles, networks and onboard technology. The strategy definition will be crafted in collaboration with the technical, marketing, accounting and order fulfillment teams within A&A, ICS, GCI and the Machine Product Groups. The incumbent will also lead resulting NPI and NMI projects to execute the strategy. Job Duties Specifically, you can expect to: Coordinate, facilitate and govern NPI for end-to-end solutions within the Cat Command portfolio Lead cross-functional NPI teams where on-board technology, off-board services, and commercial strategies meet; establish project management plans and manage resources to deliver on program objectives Work with the Commercial teams and our customers to ensure prioritized NPI programs are focused on delivering business outcomes. Developing the business case for future programs. Work across Machine Business Divisions, Cat Digital, Integrated Components and Solutions (ICS), Global Construction and Infrastructure (GCI), and CD&T Drive alignment across the team on key business objectives and priorities, ensure appropriate resources are in place to execute, and synchronize development across the organization to deliver on the Digital strategy Identify improvement opportunities across each of the different processes and workstreams; executing strategies to address them, and delivering the Cat Command MGPP. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in business or engineering 6 or more years of progressive job-related experience Strong interpersonal skills, influencing/persuasion, and negotiation skills Strong communication (written, verbal, and presentation) Excellent problem-solving skills, leadership, and team management capabilities. Top candidates will also bring: Prior NPI leadership experience in a product or technology group Prior machine or industry marketing experience, including field and staff assignments Prior 6 Sigma BB experience Strong project management skills Additional Information The location for this position is Mossville, IL, as well as Aurora, IL; Decatur, IL; Cary, NC; Tucson, AZ; Minneapolis, MN.
