We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Product Support and Logistics Division as a Production Scheduler in Menominee, MI. The Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Plan, schedule, and release work orders to shop Assure demand, reschedule and cancellation messages are conveyed in a timely manner to all work areas Communicate with customers and shop personnel Assure that customer orders are filled as required Running various reports, reviewing for accuracy and completion Leading process improvement projects within the facility Basic Qualifications: High School diploma or GED 3 years of experience in a role with frequent computer usage Experience working on/with cross-functional teams Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Top Candidates Will Also Have: Associate or Bachelor degree Experience in Availability & Inventory Management, Purchasing, Transportation & Engineering, Dealer Services, Storeroom, and/or Manufacturing Comfortable with & able to learn various software platforms General requirements planning knowledge Product and routing knowledge Experience with SAP Experience leading or coordinating projects and workflows Knowledge and understanding of 6 Sigma/lean project management principles Additional Information: This position does not offer relocation and is located in Menominee, MI This position requires 5% or less travel Final Details Please frequently check the email associated with your application, including the junk/spam folder, as this is the primary correspondence method.
