Hiring for : Bus Cleaner (Hours of work will be between 3 : 00 p.m. 6 : 00 a.m.) Applicants must be at least 18 years old Do you have an employment background that includes customer service, a strong work ethic and the ability to work with a diverse group of people?
This position requires flexibility, the aptitude to follow direction, and the capability to perform a variety of work-related tasks.
As a Bus Cleaner at CATA you will be working with a team of dedicated employees who are committed to providing excellent service to all of our staff and customers.
- Some pertinent responsibilities of the position are listed below. Cleans interior of CATA vehicles, includes sweeping and mopping bus floors, dusting seats;
- Cleans exterior of CATA vehicles, utilizing a mechanical bus washer when available; Cleans glass windows, doors and mirrors, washes all window casings and tracks;
- Cleans all chrome railing materials, straps and driver areas; Vacuums and cleans all upholstery using the appropriate cleaning equipment;
- Cleans light fixtures and washes down all interior surfaces including walls, seat bases, vent casings; Empties all trash from the vehicle;
- replaces trash bags; Restocks vehicles with supplies, as needed; verifies that service vehicles are amply stocked with supplies and supplies are properly requisitioned and recorded;
- Turns in all lost and found articles to dispatch as outlined in CATA policy; Properly maintains and cleans equipment and work areas at the end of each shift;
Keeps storage and work areas clean at all times; Reports all maintenance issues to Supervisors Benefits For this position, CATA offers paid time off (vacation, sick, holidays, etc.
