Pharmaceutical Development Associate Scientist II Position Summary: Catalent Pharma Solutions in Kansas City, MO is hiring a Pharmaceutical Development Associate Scientist II. This role supports formulation/process design and development of oral solid dosage forms. Participates/leads in clinical trial manufacturing endeavors and ensures that all work is carried out in compliance with regulatory requirements, good manufacturing practices (cGMP) and standard operating procedures (SOPs). The site provides a range of integrated services for oral solid dosage forms, from formulation development and analytical testing to clinical and commercial-scale manufacture. The Kansas City facility is a Center-of-Excellence for our Biologics Analytical Services business. Our talented team has over 25 years of experience providing analytical services for stand-alone and integrated biologics projects. The Role Execute laboratory work plan / schedule developed with input from supervisor or senior team member May draft technical documents such as batch records, technical reports and SXPs with supervisor guidance Performs parallel review of manufacturing documentation and may become qualified to perform technical review of documents for accuracy, thoroughness and regulatory compliance Trains others on basic laboratory techniques Assists in the execution of efficiency improvement project with guidance Maintain high quality laboratory documentation in accordance with applicable regulatory guidance and Site SOPs Performs physical testing as needed; bulk/tap density, flow analysis (FT4) and sieve analysis.
