Position Summary:
Catalent Pharma Solutions in Kansas City, MO is hiring a Returns Associate for the Clinical Services group. This person will support clinical trial projects through the processing of returned clinical trial medications that are returned by clinical research sites for destruction and ensuring that all work is carried out in compliance with regulatory requirements, good manufacturing practices (cGMP) and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Although the focus is in Returned Goods and Destruction, this position will also support other areas of operation as needed and as requested in order to support the needs of the business.
This is a full-time position: 7:00AM-3:30PM, Monday – Friday.

The Role
- Operate power lifting equipment (i.e. walk-behind lift) safely and reliably to move product throughout the warehouse
- Follow all safety and manual handling guidelines
- Accurately review returns processing records to ensure instructions are followed in accordance with SOPs
- Clean associated equipment and workstation area in compliance with SOPs
- Prepare and complete documentation in compliance with SOPs and cGMP
- Manage assigned returned studies and effectively communicate project status to the client
- Inspect drug product, components, and other return clinical supplies for defects as requested by the client
- Ensure a high-quality standard work by reporting any deviations to standard operating procedures or returns processing protocols to management
- All other duties as assigned;
The Candidate
- 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse position using an inventory system like JD Edwards
- Experience in clinical trial packaging or related pharmaceutical operations preferred
- High School Diploma or GED required
- PIT or Forklift License (either active or recently expired) and a valid drivers license
- Proven ability to problem solve and troubleshoot
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized and able to work in a team environment
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- 8 bullets about requirements and preferred experience
- Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0-15 pounds;
