About the Role
As our Brand & Content Marketing Specialist, you will bring your deep passion for storytelling to our brand and company. You will be able to voice our vision to different audiences across a breadth of media and content forms. You bring a high level of creativity blended with technical acumen and thrive in a fast-paced, autonomous environment. You are also highly familiar with the best trends and practices in SEO, site development and social media marketing.
Responsibilities may include:
Strategy: Develop the brand marketing strategies to establish strategic direction and positioning for Catalyst.
Content: Create and manage compelling content, graphics and infographics that are easily digestible by all audiences. Create or oversee content creation for various distribution approaches, inclusive of social media, websites, case studies, blogs, events, videos, email campaigns and presentations. Grow our content databases by providing our audiences with constant, helpful, and interesting content that is in-tune with their interests and needs.
Collaboration: Work with SMEs and internal departments to align on the creation of resources and new content that supports segment specific marketing programs and enhances Catalyst’s market awareness for the purpose of driving sales leads, and ultimately helping sales growth.
Research and Analytics: Conduct research and develop an understanding of our industry, our unique value proposition, and our market differentiators. In addition, you will research best practices and latest trends to ensure Catalyst does not lag behind its competition. Translate campaign performance and research findings into communication documents and reports for executive team. Track spending on all media campaigns to ensure marketing efforts stay within budget.
Social Media: Create, manage, and grow Catalyst’s social media profiles and presence to increase awareness and following of our target market. Create and manage the social media post calendar and content. Engage in relevant social media discussion and forums as a representative of Catalyst
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Journalism, Psychology, Information Technology or any other related field or equivalent work experience.
Prior experience producing and promoting content for a business in a capacity similar to that of a content editor, content marketer, social media marketer, digital marketer, etc.
Experience supporting sales content and lead generation.
Experience supporting thought leadership content and social media campaigns.
Proven ability to produce quality business content in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
Experience supporting and marketing webinars and onsite conferences/events.
Deep command of several social media platforms and their best practices.
Exceptional communication skills
Experience with MS Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma, etc.
High creativity levels and deep interest in market research and analysis.
Highly organized, be able to work autonomously, handle multiple projects at once, prioritize responsibilities and deliverables.
Highly personable and detail-oriented.
Nice to Haves
Deep interest and understanding of technology.
Understanding in public sector audiences.
Personal, active, and well-rounded social media presence
Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Hubspot, or any other marketing automation platform.
