In this position, you will work with management and staff throughout the organization to maximize workflow and create efficiencies through process re-engineering and application development. Specifically, you will be able to own the entire development lifecycle – from requirements gathering and analysis to design, testing, and implementation.
- Collaborate with departmental management and other internal/external staff to strategically create, customer friendly and technically advanced applications
- Ensure applications are kept up to date, and needed enhancements are completed timely
- Enhance and further develop a systematic mapping of departmental processes to assist in change and reform; Act as lead and facilitator for departmental re-engineering initiatives
- Support system-wide applications by creating/modifying reports, templates, and
- Ensure training guides and system documentation is maintained and updated
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related field of study and three years of related work experience in full stack application development, database management, mapping processes, troubleshooting, quality assurance/testing, and implementation of IT systems; OR
- Associate degree in Information Technology or a related field and four years of related work experience in full stack application development, database management, mapping processes, troubleshooting, quality assurance/testing, and implementation of IT systems; OR
- High school diploma or equivalent and six years of related work experience in full-stack application development, database management, mapping processes, troubleshooting, quality assurance/testing, and implementation of IT systems
PREFERENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM-related field plus five years of experience as listed below:
Primary Languages: C#, VB, HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, XML, JSON, SASS
Frameworks, Libraries, Design Patterns: .NET MVC, Entity Framework, LINQ, Bootstrap 3/4
Development Tools: Visual Studio, source control (TFS, GIT), SQL Server Management Studio, Adobe Creative Suite
Bonus Skills: Kendo UI, Telerik UI, Angular, Angular Material
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Technically fluent in current programming languages
- Solid working knowledge of current Internet technologies
- Hands-on software troubleshooting experience
- Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
