What are the responsibilities and job description for the E-Commerce Manager position at Catbird?
Catbird, an iconic fine jewelry DTC brand, is looking for an experienced E-Commerce Manager to lead Catbird’s online acceleration, delivering an innovative and engaging customer experience; expanding the desktop and mobile capabilities; establishing and managing the end to end digital product roadmap; and driving the day to day e-commerce business.
This role is hybrid - 3 days a week in office at our Brooklyn Navy Yard HQ.

\n- Oversee day-to-day management of the ecommerce platform, ensuring optimal performance, user experience, and functionality to ensure a frictionless, best-in-class consumer experience.
- Lead digital roadmap planning inclusive of strategy, budget management, PM ownership, execution and maintenance.
- Partner with external technical partners in project prioritization, sprint planning, UAT and production pushes.
- Support site marketing planning from content to new launches in partnership with cross-functional teams for a 360, cohesive consumer experience across digital channels/platforms.
- Work closely with key stakeholders to identify site opportunities/experiences that enhance the consumer shopping experience.
- Provide KPIs and actionable insights on performance that ladder up to business objectives/goals.
- Analyze customer conversion funnel and identify key customer friction points and opportunities to develop initiatives that increase conversion at each level of the customer shopping experience.
- Collaborate with VP of Ecommerce and key stakeholders to develop ecommerce strategies to drive key KPIs and business goals.
- Actively manage third party relationships as the main point of contact. Ensure and maintain a positive relationship while acting on behalf of Catbird at all times.
- Stay up to date with evolving digital trends, technology, and opportunities to enhance and optimize site experience.
- Build strong partnerships across ecommerce team members and cross functional teams to foster collaborative relationships.
- 4 years experience in digital retail operations.
- Proven experience managing a Digital/ECommerce operation, from conception through delivery with quantifiable results in a multi-channel environment.
- Experience implementing content & website optimization with focus on managing complexity across multiple projects that touch many stakeholders.
- Exceptional project manager with ability to lead projects, meetings, presentations to effectively analyze and translate data into actionable business plans.
- Deep attention to detail and dedication to accuracy and precision.
- Outstanding ability to think creatively, strategically, and identify and resolve problems
- Expertise with Magento, Google analytics, Google Search Console, and core digital marketing platforms
- Enjoys leading within an entrepreneurial environment
Salary : $90,000 - $100,000
