Description
Strategically manages warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
Maintains warehousing, and inventory usage and storage of goods by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational and personnel policies and procedures
Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols
Ensures all personnel is working in a safe manner and complies with all safety regulations
Controls inventory levels and accuracy by conducting physical counts: reconciling with data storage system
Ensures First in First Out is being maintained on a daily basis
Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repairs and/or replacement
Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results
Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching and counseling while monitoring and appraising job results
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Set up and layout and ensures efficient space utilization
Liaises with clients, suppliers and transport companies
Ability to work in a cold environment
All other task as assigned
Qualifications
Proven work experience as a warehouse manager
Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
Strong knowledge of warehousing KPI’s
Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
Leadership skills and ability to manage staff
Strong decision making and problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrate leadership experience with a high-functioning, fast-paced team
Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly while maintaining a high-priority to the safety of our workforce
Education/Training:
High school diploma or GED required
Basic Reading, Writing and Math skills.
Related Experience/Requirements:
Minimum 3- 5 yrs experience in food production or food warehouse environment preferred
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to perform the following physical activities: Job requires workers to lift up to 60 lbs. must be able to: step, climb, balance, squat, kneel, bend and reach above shoulders as needed.
Work in a cold refrigerated environment

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
