Description
As an EHS Coach at Caterpillar you will:
Assist with accidents, near misses, and walk-back investigations, including root cause analysis
Address employee’s health, safety, or environmental issues (frequent safety and environmental walks)
Attend Start of Shift Meetings and Present Safety Information
Assist with facility health, safety and environmental reporting and tracking activities.
Review and update health, safety and environmental plans and programs.
Ability to follow standard work
Review and audit SFMEA’s and Job Hazard Analysis
Lead the Safety team
Assist with updating safety plans, documentation, and safety files
Lead Safety 360 initiative
Use cross-functional communications to complete tasks
Create safety, health, and environmental communications to promote awareness
Be the Safety Contact for Project Work
Provide summaries to Leadership
Rely on problem-solving to complete job tasks
Meet deadlines
Prioritize work
Learn and support the EHS Assurance Manual Topics and Standards
Support BAWA and BHLN
Basic Qualifications
Basic proficiency in Microsoft applications
Prior Safety Training experience
Prior leadership experience
Top Candidates will also have
Assembly or Logistics experience
Safety and Ergonomics Evaluation Experience
Risk Assessment Training/Experience (SFMEA)
Ability to communicate (written/orally) with all levels of the organization including suppliers and customers
Additional Information
Shift: 1st
Hours: Mon-Thurs 6 AM-4 PM, Overtime as business needs require on Fridays and Saturdays
Starting pay rate: $19.51
Work location: Waco, TX – Orchard Ln - BCP
