Job Description Caterpillar’s Resource Industries Sales, Service, and Technology (RISST) division is seeking a Human Resources Representative at our Mining Center in Tucson, AZ. In this role, you will work with a global HR team, assisting with complex and specialized administrative tasks, supporting organization and talent development initiatives, and leading key projects. Job Duties: You will be HRIS system superuser. Standard and ad hoc reports as requested. Tracking and reporting of metrics and measurements for human resources and training functions. Assisting in the preparation of human resources and training materials for executive-level meetings. Assisting hiring managers with the recruiting process, including assisting with job description edits that attract diverse candidates. Supporting new employee onboarding and offboarding activities. Building partnerships with Regional and Corporate Human Resources teams. Supporting leader and employee questions related to: Performance Management Process Relocations / International Service Policies and procedures Compensation, benefits, and payroll Learning initiatives Special projects as assigned Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Management or related field or equivalent work experience consisting of a minimum of 5 years as a human resources generalist. At least 2 years of human resources job-related experience. Top Candidate will also have: Confident oral and written communication skills. Resilient and flexible. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and exercise good judgment. Upholds strong Values and portrays a positive attitude to support positive employee relations. Workday (HCM) Software experience is strongly preferred. Advanced level experience with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to evaluate problems of moderate scope and complexity and draw appropriate conclusions based on data and policy. Demonstrated ability to influence others. Broad knowledge of various HR functions including benefits, recruiting, employee relations, training, and development, workforce planning, compensation, and interpretation of company policies and procedures. Additional information: The location for this position is Tucson, AZ. Domestic relocation assistance is available. This position may require 10% travel. Sponsorship is not available.
