The Role

SPM Oil & Gas currently has an opening for a Materials Coordinator located in Fort Worth, TX.

Hourly Pay Starts at $21.20. Can be adjusted with experience.

1st Shift Hours: 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • At SPM Oil & Gas, our primary objective is to provide our customers with

  • Demonstrate consistency, accountability, reliability and solid work ethic

  • Exhibit a high degree of integrity at all times

  • Performs all duties of a Material Handler

  • Fluent with the SPM inventory system and Syteline program

  • Retrieves parts for customer orders, rentals and/or flow shop

  • Releases and posts parts pulled in to Syteline inventory system

  • Conducts cycle counts and enters them in to Syteline

  • Generates transfer orders

  • Completes MDFs (Material Disposition Forms)

  • Mentors inventory personnel

  • Inventory of product using RFID and AMP systems

  • Monitor in-transit inventory to ensure timely receipt with discrepancies reconciled

  • Monitors and updates backlog, maintains stocking levels

  • Ensures adequate safeguarding of physical inventory

  • Assists with annual full physical inventory

  • Ensure inventory transactions are recorded properly and timely in accordance with physical movement

  • Implement serialization requirements and tracking

  • Monitors inventory turns to meet business requirements

  • Monitor district/branch excess and obsolete inventory

  • Knowledge of Inventory Management

  • Possess high energy, resiliency, self-motivation, determination and organization

  • Must have the ability to perform independently or in a team setting

  • Performs all other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to read and interpret documents, such as: safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate to groups of customers, suppliers, or employees of the organization.

Mathematical:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving many variables in situations on customer locations.

Computer Skills:

The incumbent should have knowledge of the following software: manufacturing and inventory software; internet, spreadsheet, and word processing software, such as Microsoft Office Suite Reasoning Ability Must demonstrate the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Must demonstrate the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Manufacturing area with high-speed machinery, welding equipment, coolants, some area of high noise levels. Must be able to wear steel-toed shoes, safety glasses and any other required proper protective equipment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
