1. Processing of Government Contracts and Grants
a. Project management: Oversee process from intake to submission of government contract or grant; successfully track various aspects of projects and coordinate inputs from across Catholic Charities
b. Coordinate with attorneys, program team and leadership, and finance staff
c. Track internal approval process
d. Guide staff in other departments in understanding contract submission process
e. Maintain electronic contract files
2. Monitoring Compliance with Government Contracts and Grants
a. Track compliance requirements across contracts and programs; collaborate with staff across organization to implement compliance measures
b. Prepare training on compliance obligations in collaboration with attorneys and representatives from People and Culture and/or programs staff
3. Managing and Maintaining Databases
a. Enter and track contract data via the Legal Department's database as well as any other Catholic Charities' databases
b. Assist with data governance (to maintain uniformity of naming and storing data)
c. Create and run reports from databases as needed; liaison with IT team to design required reports and queries
4. Assisting with Department Projects and Initiatives, as needed. Types of projects may include:
a. Governance
b. Risk Management
c. Real Estate matters
5. Other Duties as Assigned
a. From time to time, required to follow other job-related instructions and to perform any other job-related duties as requested by any person authorized to give instructions or assignments.

- Detail Oriented: Close attention to details of each contract, database entries, and timelines for each contract. Able to maintain and expand naming conventions to effectively use database and maintain file organization.
- Organizational and Practice Skills: Must be comfortable working with range of clients, managing busy schedule with multiple competing priorities. Works under time constraints regarding the submission of contracts and related documentation.
- Project Management: Must be able to track various aspects of every contract and keep the project moving forward to successfully meet deadlines.
- Critical Thinking: Use critical thinking skills to evaluate and complete assignments.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with a variety of diverse parties and the ability to effectively collaborate with a team.
- Self-Sufficient/Self-Motivated: Able to manage projects independently and prioritize tasks in realm with many pressing deadlines.
- Personal Integrity: High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, Outlook; Windows operating systems; and other software routinely used by Catholic Charities.

Education and Experience Requirements:
Relevant Education:
Preferred: Associate's Degree or specialized training and a paralegal certificate
Minimum: Associate's Degree or specialized training
Relevant Experience:
Preferred: 3-5 Years experience using and maintaining databases.
Minimum: 2-4 Years experience using and maintaining databases.
Certification/Licensure:
Preferred: Paralegal Certificate (ABA Approved)
