What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aging Life Coordinator position at Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Albany?

We are currently hiring an Aging Life Coordinator, to work in our Tri- County Services Agency. As the Aging Life Coordinator, you would be responsible for:
· Design and implement on-going volunteer recruitment activities throughout the catchment area served by the program
· Conduct information sessions for potential volunteers at sites throughout the county
· Respond to volunteer inquiries, answering questions and providing instructions about the process of becoming a volunteer
· Conduct face-to-face interviews with potential volunteers to determine appropriateness for and interest in providing services
· Ensure all volunteers providing services complete required documentation and service tracking
· Maintains volunteer records ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date including availability schedules and areas of interest
· Tracks volunteer activities
· Conducts monthly volunteer meetings and in-service trainings
· Have on-going communication with clients and volunteers throughout service provision
Aging Life Coordinator Minimum Salary: $20.00
Aging Life Coordinator Maximum Salary: $21.00
Aging Life Coordinator Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, 25 hours per week
Qualifications:
· 2 year/ Associate Degree
· A valid NYS driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
