What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Services Administrative Coordinator position at Catholic Social Services of Washtenaw County?
This position provides administrative and clerical support to the Senior Services Department, with a primary focus on offering high-quality client care, including receiving, logging, and triaging calls from clients in need of assistance from CSSW’s Home Services and Resource Advocacy programs. This staff member will also be responsible for prioritizing and scheduling services and for communicating schedules with the Home Services staff. The Senior Services Administrative Coordinator will also assist in creating activity and demographic reports related to Senior Services. As a member of the Senior Services team, this staff member may also assist with data entry and other clerical tasks as well as serving as support staff for additional administrative tasks within the Senior Services and Operations programs. The coordinator will efficiently manage incoming calls, direct client requests with caring and efficient customer service, and maintain Senior Services client records and files.
Associate’s degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent with at least two years of dedicated, scheduling and administrative experience is required. Other qualifications include but are not limited to;
- Strong scheduling experience, preferably in a social services environment
- Experience in working with vulnerable populations
- Customer service and telephone triage experience including interaction with senior and/or low-income client populations
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Office and clerical skill with experience managing and maintaining client records and files
Total compensation includes benefit and retirement plans with employer contribution, plus paid time off and a generous paid holiday schedule which includes Christmas Eve through New Year’s Day.
