CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Cavallino Risk Management, Inc. is a commercial insurance brokerage specializing in transportation. We combine national reach with local service to address the needs of small, medium, and large trucking fleets, charter buses and everything in between. We ONLY serve the transportation industry. For more than 25 years we've successfully partnered with trucking companies in their efforts to secure the Right Truck Insurance at the Right Price®. 

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for supporting our team of Producers and their clients with various administrative and operational tasks. This position will be responsible for communicating with internal team members and external insurance companies. You will help resolve client inquiries, submit applications, and provide solutions in a timely and friendly manner.

*This is an office-based position based out of the 675 W. Jericho Tpke., Huntington NY Headquarters. Candidates must be able to commute to this office location during scheduled days.

**We are open to full-time and part-time applicants for this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Work closely with the Producers and Director of Operations on all aspects of client service, marketing, and renewals
• Foster positive relationships with clients and insurance partners by providing high levels of advocacy, world-class service, and professional communication
• Leverage insurance knowledge to support clients on policy coverage, changes, exclusions, insurance coverage needs, etc.
• Analyze quotes from underwriters, evaluate and prepare comparison of options and policy proposals, and provide administrative support to Producers when presenting proposals as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Exceptional aptitude for customer service with a minimum of 1 year of Commercial Insurance industry experience required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and AMS 360 is preferred
• Experience with commercial middle market carriers active in the transportation insurance arena (passenger and/or trucking) strongly preferred
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize
• Upbeat attitude and strong written, verbal, and organizational skills.
