What are the responsibilities and job description for the Army ERP System Support position at cBEYONData?
We are seeking a business system support consultant to support our federal customer with their business systems – primarily, GFEBS, GFEBS-SA and GCSS-Army.
Responsibilities:
- Understand a range of Army financial and logistical business processes and how to execute the processes within GFEBS-SA, GFEBS, and/or GCSS-Army.
- Instruct users on proper execution of business processes and assist when users have process and or system questions.
- Determine if business transactions, interfaces, and reports are running appropriately and reconciling with source data.
- Coordinate with end-users and technical representatives to resolve help desk tickets.
- Analyze user challenges for common themes to be addressed via training.
- Analyze existing training aides to find opportunities for improvement or clarification.
- Redesign business processes to more effectively and efficiently execute the processes within transactional systems.
- Coordinate and support financial year-end close activities.
Requirements:
- Required: Local to Washington D.C. metro area and be on client site 4-5 days a week.
- Required: Understand GFEBS concepts and able to apply concepts using supporting systems and processes
- Required: Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Required: SAP R/3 ECC proficiency
- Preferred: Experience with Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests, and monitoring of iDOCs within GFEBS and GFEBS-SA
- Preferred: Familiarity with SAP GRC
- Preferred: Minimum Undergraduate Degree from an accredited University/College
- Preferred: Familiarity with national security business landscape
- Excellent communication skills at all organizational levels in order to articulate customer needs & changes necessary and train end-users.
- Ability to be self-directed in the completion of individual work assignment
