The Role You’ll Play:
For the last ten years, CB Insights has been aggregating, analyzing, and advising on the trends shaping emerging technology.
Now we’re on a mission to connect the companies building the future with the buyers who can propel their businesses forward.
As a graphic designer you will work to shape the CB Insights visual brand with eye-catching visuals, delightful illustrations, and insightful presentations working closely with people from all departments including senior leadership.

The CB Insights design team is a collaborative group of hardworking individuals. We know success comes from a team that can trust, challenge, and learn from one another. We are constantly evolving to ensure our processes are working hard for us, not the other way around.
Designers work with teams across the organization and have direct access to leadership. Our work is highly visible and directly impacts the future of the CB insights platform, branding, and customer experience.
Your Main Tasks:
- Collaborate with other design team members to consistently improve the brand and drive business objectives.
- Work with stakeholders from all departments, lead project direction and solicit feedback at appropriate intervals.
- Craft illustrations which simplify complex interactions into delightful visuals.
- Work alongside senior leadership to build high profile decks for large internal communications as well as external audiences.
- Create eye-catching featured images for our Research portal and Marketing site.
- Optimize social media assets building plans to drive increased impressions and MQLs.
What you bring to the table:
- At least 3 years of brand design experience with prior marketplace experience preferred.
- Ability to create vector illustrations within our established brand style.
- Highly proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and PowerPoint. Figma knowledge is a plus. Should be comfortable learning new tools.
- Knowledge of infographic best practices with an ability to create eye catching visuals illustrating emerging technology as well as abstract concepts.
- A strong understanding of typography and layout with a portfolio showcasing these skills.
