Essential Functions and Primary Duties
- Assist internal and external clients with requests and problems in a timely manner
- Support inbound call queue handling client calls to process payroll, enter payroll information, and answer questions for clients in multiple states
- Learn and maintain knowledge of payroll processing system to develop a trusted relationship with our clients
- Responsible for payroll and audit functions of multiple clients
- Balance respective payrolls based on year-end calendar by defined due dates
- Prepare off-cycle payrolls and manual checks as necessary
- Input data into software within required deadlines accurately
- Manage email correspondence
- Record necessary changes/updates as appropriate
- Ensure all internal controls and procedures are followed for accuracy
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 2 years relevant work experience, preferably in the payroll TPA industry
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Acute detail and accuracy skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
- Excellent customer relation skills
- Proficient use of applicable technology
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and pay close attention to detail on many, varied tasks
