Responsibilities:
The Director of Social Media is responsible for developing and overseeing social media and social selling strategy and campaigns and resources across all social channels to increase brand awareness and drive revenue growth.
- Work with the CMO and practice leaders to develop social media and selling strategy and goals to align with all company business goals
- Lead the management, growth, and development of the social media team
- Drive internal adoption of social selling tools (LinkedIn Sales navigator, Oktopost, and others) through advocacy, recognition, and training
- Work with other design and marketing leaders as needed to develop, implement, executive and social selling and social media campaigns and paid/organic social media campaigns to support marketing initiatives, including thought leadership, lead generation, recruiting, and sponsorships
- Oversee content development including both written and video as well as distribution across all major social media platforms including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and others TBD
- Oversee editorial calendar and monitor social mentions, etc.
- Stay current with social media trends
- Set social selling revenue and other goals, track, analyze and report performance, identifying and implementing recommendations for improvement and growth
- Research and suggest relevant trends in social media, including new platforms, industry trends, multichannel campaigns and how they affect future strategy
- Advocate within the company, educating and engaging company senior leadership on the benefits of social selling and social media
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 8 years of social media in a corporate or agency setting
- Experience developing social strategy and driving results across all facets of social medial management, including social listening, community management, content strategy, and analytics
- Excellent social media copywriting and/or visual design skills
- Proven background in strategic planning within social and digital space and developing successful campaigns that have gained and maintained organic growth with proven sales results
- Strong and proven business acumen
- Expertise in social data analysis and measuring KPIs impactful to the business
- Strong experience reporting ROI to senior leadership
- Analytical skill and the ability to use digital tools to find actionable insights through data
- Excellent communication/presentation skills, ability to inform, influence and negotiate across functions and with all organization levels. Ability to story tell well via PowerPoint.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
- Proficient knowledge of social networking channels, including but not limited to LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube and blogging
- Excellent project management skills, detail-oriented, highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines efficiently
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
