They are also responsible for coaching and mentoring agile teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Stakeholders, Business sponsors and other Organizational leaders with overall goal of organizational transformation to agility. They are an expert in Lean and Agile practices and one or more knowledge domains such as technical, business and organizational agility. They bring strong expertise in facilitation, mentoring, training and/or professional coaching. Their purview is multi-team and looking out towards the wider organization. They should be comfortable working at all levels to help the organization use Agile as a strategic asset of culture change and business value generation. Responsibilities: Embrace servant leadership and role model the behaviors that come with the key mindset shifts associated with agile methods Create and deliver workshops and trainings for new and existing teams that includes business stakeholders, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, developers, Data engineers and Data Scientists and other applicable roles on relevant topics Assess agile team maturity and create action plans to improve maturity Highly skilled in various agile Product management practices and be able to coach and train new product owners Facilitate and lead various agile related communities of practice to promote organizational level agile adoption, maturity and efficient value delivery Help teams build the trust with business stakeholders and sponsors by continuous value delivery, using agile values and principles Work with the Scrum Masters to promote self-organization and team accountability Responsible for team leadership to include coaching, performance management, interviewing, hiring and developing team members Work with the Agile Chapter leader to create and implement the Agile vision and strategy for the organization Help identify organizational impediments to successful agile transformation and work with the relevant leadership team to create effective strategies to overcome them Promote and improve team level and organizational level tool adoption, automation and consistent usage Provide guidance and support for the teams to work effectively with shared services and teams who might not be using agile ways of working Willing to meet the teams and organization where they are and provide hands-on support as needed Find continuous improvement opportunities to start showcasing immediate wins and success with the greater strategy in mind Domain Expertise: Experience working using agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, XP, Lean, SAFe etc. 7 years of hands-on experience as an Agile Coach working with different types of organizations and teams with practical experience to help run large scale transformations Ideal candidate has seen the good, bad and the ugly of agile implementations to have a proven success record as well as strong opinion about how to shape ours Experience working with green-field agile transformation implementations Travel 25% domestic travel for team and stakeholder meetings Relevant agile and coaching certifications and trainings preferred but not required Individual Skills: Must have solid background utilizing various agile frameworks and models (Scrum, Kanban, XP, Lean, SAFe, LESS, Nexus) in various domains including non- software development teams Has excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, relationship building, collaboration and conflict resolution skills Experience coaching and mentoring individuals, large, small, remote and co-located agile teams across all levels within the organization including leadership Coach and teach teams and leadership towards maturing agile adoption and metrics Strong experience in scaling methods for programs and portfolios Experience in implementing using various tools to promote transparency, data to aid agile adoption Physical Requirements/Work Environment Sitting, working at desk/personal computer for extended periods of time Must be at least 21 years of age Don’t meet every requirement but still thinking about it? Location Virtual - US Additional Locations Job Type Full time Job Area Information Technology The salary range for this role is: $113,100.00 - $180,700.00 This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
