Responsibilities This position is responsible for following established sampling and processing procedures accurately and in a timely manner. Must know/learn location of vineyard sample blocks and independently schedule own route from a daily assignment list. Must note and. Communicate vineyard conditions to Grower Relations Manager May include record keeping/reporting. Minimum Qualifications High school education/viticulture or agriculture coursework preferred. Ability to do basic math, use email, Excel and phone app, and read/follow a map. Good verbal and written English communication skills; able to keep neat and accurate records. Reliable and Organized. Must have a valid Driver’s license and a clean DMV record. Preferred Qualifications Previous viticulture experience/familiarity with vineyard or agricultural environment Working Conditions/Physical Requirements: Ability to work well outdoors in prolonged and potentially hot or inclement conditions. Ability to spend long periods of time standing & walking over rough or uneven terrain, bending, or crouching in vineyards. Ability to climb stairs and lift 30 lbs. Able to work a flexible schedule including possible overtime as requested in order to accommodate the needs of harvest operations. Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision. The salary range for this role is: $19.00 - $21.00 an hour This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
