About the role

CBRE is searching for an Associate Project Manager to support the Facilities Management Technical Integration & Operations team. The ideal candidate will design, control, and lead the technical process and operational integrity of smart buildings, critical systems, and turnkey technological services and solutions.

What you’ll do

  • Coordinate the day-to-day operational aspects of technical and project management processes, in person and remotely.
  • Coordinate building digitization programs, remote monitoring systems, and innovation campaigns by working with CBRE and client stakeholders.
  • Act as the first line of support for troubleshooting urgent technical issues.
  • Provide guidance on issues bordering on technical and managerial operations.
  • Work with various vendors, IT, and network infrastructure provisioning teams to deploy and onboard technological solutions for automation and controls required to support and maintain the client’s critical systems operations.
  • Organize training programs for end-users and engineering operators to enhance platform usability and improve knowledge of standard methodologies and procedures.
  • Produce and present periodic reports to clients and the CBRE account program management team.
  • Producing RMS network diagrams/sketches in Microsoft Visio and AutoCAD.
  • Report on new developments and issues regarding RMS projects.


What you’ll need

  • Bachelor of Science degree in math, engineering, information technology, or computer science, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of project management experience with Data Center or similar critical environments.
  • Experience with monitoring of UPS, HVAC, Power Meters, Environmental Sensors, and IO Gateways.
  • Familiarity with IoT, SNMP, Modbus, and/or BACNet serial and IP networks and protocols is highly preferred.
  • High level understanding of computer networks (IPs, Subnets, etc.).
  • Ability to generate diagrams/drawings in MS Visio and/or Auto CAD is preferred, but not required.
