What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager, Social Strategy (Dramas) -CBS Television Network position at CBS Television Network?
CBS Entertainment is responsible for acquiring or developing and scheduling the entertainment programming presented on the CBS Television Network, which includes primetime comedy and drama series, reality-based programming, specials, children’s programs, daytime dramas, game shows, talk shows and late night programs. Role:
We are looking for a Manager, Social Strategy (Dramas) to join the CBS Marketing team. You will be responsible for developing and delivering social strategy, including social brief, approach and platform strategy, talent engagement plan, voice and tone, measurement and reporting for a slate of Drama series and content. We're looking for the Manager to work closely with the Global Brand Strategy team, the On-Air Planning team, and the Creative and Media teams to build innovative, ground-breaking campaigns.
You'll engage and serve as the main point of contact for social agencies/vendors, if applicable. You will develop editorial framework/architecture, lead social brainstorming and participate in Show Pod planning. You will also partner with Social Producers to bring plans to fruition and Creative Directors, Designers, and Jr. Producers to drive creative vision and social standard methodologies. You will partner with Publicity to drive talent engagement and build talent-specific social plans to optimize talent participation and social engagement. Responsibilities:
Social media approach/brief (includes strategy, engagement, tone, dos/do nots)
Editorial calendar framework
Social content collection needs
Social agency management (if applicable)
Ideation/development of social component of coordinated campaigns
Measurement of ongoing campaigns
Social inputs for Campaign Wrap Reports Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years in social media, digital, television and/or entertainment
Deep knowledge base of social media platforms
Track record of innovative social/digital campaigns
Understanding of scripted television production
Comfortable in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint
Bachelors Degree, preferred Additional Qualifications:
Passion for CBS dramas
Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
Strong presentation skills
A collaborative, team-focused approach
