CBTS is searching for a Middleware Specialist that will be responsible for coordinating and / or performing day-to-day technical tasks and team leadership tasks for a project and is responsible for one complex client or multiple clients where complexity is based on the relationship with the client and / or the scope of services provided.
Duties may span all Practice Areas involved (i.e., Design / Build / Run, Operations Architecture, System Administration, and other technical frameworks, etc.
The Senior Technical Specialist will also serve as subject matter expert for the team and complex environments. The Senior Technical Specialist will be an experienced member of the technology team who will be responsible for providing support for the technical infrastructure of the middleware solution across all production stacks and providing insight and recommendations to the project leadership.
This individual will have leadership responsibilities.
This position provides guidance for entry level support persons and requires interaction with both other external client teams, offshore support teams and internal client teams.
This individual may have opportunities to lead project work as well as other general leadership opportunities.
Required Skills :
3 years of experience in any of Middleware related tools and application servers. E.g of some of the application servers / tools are mentioned below :
o Oracle Fusion Middleware
o WebLogic
o Oracle Service Bus
o SOA server and services
o Oracle Traffic Director and Oracle Api Gateway (OAG)
o Apache, Tomcat, IIS, Oracle Fusion, JMS, MQ Series, etc.
- 3 years of Operating System / knowledge of system commands and structures
- Project planning / major contributor to or owner of a project plan
- Process improvement / including documenting and implementation of processes
- Experience with prioritizing work requests
- Experience in people management
Preferred :
- Deep understanding and experience in back-up, recovery
- Experience supporting interfaces
- Technical Architecture and Planning Experience
- Process improvement / including documenting and implementation of processes
- Disaster Recovery planning / testing
- Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Assist in the definition and implementation of process improvement
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent leadership skills
- Ability to prioritize and complete task within schedule
- Ability to resolve technical issues and escalate issues when appropriate
