Responsibilities
- Greet customers and determine their flooring wants/needs
- Schedule appointments and activities
- Visit customer’s homes or workplace to provide product and design advice
- Keep up to date on the wide selection of flooring, cabinets, and window treatments
- Provide outstanding sales and customer service
- Build client relationships, and ensure follow up is completed on all jobs
- Research availability of merchandise and to process orders
- Manage time between the showroom and prospecting in the community
- Maintain showroom by keeping samples and displays neat, current, and clean
- Assist with warehouse needs at times
Qualifications
- Sales and customer service experience
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work in a team setting
- A positive attitude and desire to exceed expectations
- A passion for developing and maintaining long-term customer relationships
- Knowledge of floor coverings, kitchen & bath, and window treatments a plus
- RFMS a plus
- Retail experience a plus
- Design experience a plus
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Must have a clean driving record
Education
- High School degree or greater
- Sales experience is desired
- Basic computer, office, and math skills
