General Description :
The Fueler position is responsible for loading fuel and completing multiple deliveries throughout the day delivering fuel to drilling rigs as well as fueling equipment, light plants heaters etc.
This position will be responsible for driving CCI's Mission, Vision, and Values, a crucial part of the strategic plan to drive success.

Essential Duties & Job Functions :

- Ensure a safe work environment.
- Oils and greases moving parts of friction surfaces of mechanical equipment such as shaft and motor bearings, sprockets, drive chains, gears, and pulleys by performing the following duties.
- Follows work orders or oral instructions to grease and lubricate light and heavy duty equipment in the shop or at various work sites.
- Fills containers such as oilcan, grease gun, or tank of lubrication truck with specified lubricant.
- Checks and replenishes all levels of oils, greases and other lubricants in all types of light and heavy equipment and trucks.
- Check and keep materials and shop mechanics aware of the remaining inventory levels of oil, filters, grease, etc. normally utilized in the service of equipment.
- Fuels heavy and non-mobile equipment in the field from a fuel truck as reasonably required.
- Ability to properly document meter readings on equipment for monthly report preparation.
- Forces grease into bearings with grease gun, smears grease on friction surfaces, or packs grease cups by hand.
- Fills wells and sumps of lubricating systems with oil.
- Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor.
- Cleans machines, sweeps floors, and transports stock as necessary.
- Informs supervisor of any incidents involving injury, spills, equipment malfunction and / or damage.
- Must be able to follow instructions, prioritize and organize,
- Meet company expectations for work schedules and attendance.
- Use and wear personal protective equipment that may be required on the job.
- Participate in all required training.
- Courteously work with customers, fellow employees, and supervisors.
- This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
- Skilled in written, verbal, and interpersonal communication that includes good listening, providing clear direction and effective feedback.
- Ability to clearly speak, write and read the English language.
- Skilled in rock-climbing, ice climbing or working at heights off ropes.
- Skilled in leading continuous improvement initiatives in the workplace.
- Skilled in reading and working off of P&IDs, Engineered Drawings or inspection data.
- Ability to perform job functions while using a respirator (half and full face).

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and severe outside weather conditions.

A pre-hire post offer Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) will be conducted to determine an employee’s ability to perform to the job standard.

- MOBILITY : Must be able to access all controls and all parts of machinery for service. Must be able to push / pull 50 pounds for 20 feet.
- HEARING : Must be able to hear audible safety alarms.
- VISUAL ACUITY : Must be adequate to perform above listed tasks in a safe manner and take hand signals from ground man or flag man.
Have correctable vision to at least 20 / 40.
- LIFTING : Must be able to routinely lift up to 70 pounds from floor to waist, 50 pounds from wait level to shoulder height and carry 70 pounds for 20 feet.
- RANGE OF MOTION : An objective range of motion measurement will be conducted and recorded using a five position and rapid exchange grip strength test during the pre-hire / post offer FCE.

Requirements
Required Qualifications :
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- 2 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience to be able to successfully complete the tasks of the position is required.
- CDL (Class A) with hazardous materials endorsement is preferred and may be required on some projects.
- Current Medical Card is required.
- NSTC card required.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Oilfield experience is preferred.
- Arctic experience is preferred.
