Job Title: Sales Support Specialist
Job Summary:
The Sales Support Specialist provides all aspects of administrative support to the sales team. This candidate would work directly with the Sales team on commercial activity, including, but not limited to quoting, production planning, pricing, and system administration. They manage and facilitate the flow and communication of information to and from the sales team to our internal team and customer contacts.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Entering quote and re-quote requests in CCL database
- Coordinate and complete customer requests for quote, quote breakdowns, and spreadsheets.
- Obtain volume/application/substrate/program details from customer engineering and serve as a direct interface with the customer.
- Work directly with sales and purchasing teams to assist in resolving pricing questions
- Complete Supplier forms and surveys
- Work with Finance to coordinate New Customer onboarding (credit applications, bank forms, etc.)
- Assisting with managing customer portals (quoting, retrieving purchase orders, etc.) and system administration tasks
- Monitor development timing for new product implementation
- Create, submit and manage sample shipment requests. Follow through on sending samples & prototypes to our customers.
- Serve as a liaison between the front-end commercial team and the manufacturing associates to ensure the accurate flow of information and end-product completion.
- Strategic liaison with Customer Service and various internal departments
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to provide professionalism, patience and a people-first positive attitude.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Customer Supplier Portals and the ability to analyze data
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, and drive actions to completion under strict deadlines.
- Flexibility and ability to stay on task, with numerous interruptions and constantly changing priorities
- Above Average Excel skills
- Strong self-starter who can communicate effectively to management and peers
- Working conditions include a normal office environment with interaction on the shop floor. (both Union and Non Union environments)
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Related field
- 3-5 years working in Customer Service or Inside Sales in a Manufacturing environment Equivalent combination of education and experience would be considered
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
