About the community :
Towne Lake, a 2,400 acre community Connected by Water , is centered around Houston’s largest private lake. Residents enjoy recreational boating, skiing, and boat docks amid Hill Country inspired homes along a 300 acre recreational lake.
The community consists of four separate associations, and will build out with 4000 homes.
What you’ll accomplish :
- Operating a motor-driven boat to carry passengers
- Following all safety protocols for loading and unloading
- Ensuring all equipment is maintained
- Cleaning the boat
- Distributing life jackets and safety instructions to passengers
- Monitoring weather conditions and rescheduling trips as needed
- Providing information to guests
What we’re looking for :
- Watercraft / boating experience is preferred
- At least 18 years old
- Must have or be able to obtain a Boat Operator’s Certificate
- High degree of customer service, interpersonal and communications skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings and adapt to hours that vary throughout the year - peak season being April through September
- Able to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Possess a high level of initiative and good judgment
- Self-motivated with an eagerness to learn new tasks
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Pay rate up to $11.48 per hour
