The Network Administrator position is responsible for researching, implementing and maintaining the technical aspects and development of improved systems and procedures to support corporate computing for client service and internal operating efficiencies.  This team provides a variety of hardware, software and networking support services for 1500 employees in 36 locations across the United States.

 

This team works out of our corporate office in Danville, IL.  We work a hybrid schedule after initial training period.  

Responsibilities

  • Work with general supervision to research and implement technical systems projects and provide solutions for future technology needs. Duties to include setup for server, software installation, hardware and software troubleshooting, LAN and WAN support, maintaining virtualized environment, administration of on premise and cloud systems, and troubleshooting all related technical systems. 
  •  

  • Keep current with latest vulnerabilities and updates for CCMSI relevant systems and apply updates as needed to ensure security and compliance.
  •  

  • Maintain corporate datacenters and all associated equipment.
  • Design and implementation of network and computing solutions in our corporate headquarters and other locations for new and existing technologies.
  • Recommend and procure equipment under supervision of IT Systems Manager.
  •  

  • Work with other members of technical support staff in a team environment.
  •  

  • Prepare project records and time accounting records in accordance with company standards.
  •  

  • Administer resources in a Microsoft Windows Server Active Directory environment. 
  •  

  • Keep technical abilities and skillsets up to date with current technologies.
  •  

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Excellent oral and written communication skills. Individual must have the ability to coordinate and prioritize. Must be able to participate as a team in a rapidly changing environment. Flexibility, initiative and ability to work with minimal direct supervision is required. Must be able to operate office equipment. Individual must be detail oriented and a self-starter with strong organizational abilities. Discretion and confidentiality a must.

     

    Reliable, predictable attendance within client service hours for the performance of this position.

     

    Responsive to internal and external client needs. Ability to clearly communicate verbally and/or in writing both internally and externally while maintaining a professional discourse.
