The Content Marketing Specialist is responsible for creating and publishing content across multiple platforms, maintaining tight project deadlines, and optimizing content to drive acquisition and engagement. This position reports to the Director of Marketing & Public Relations and will frequently take direction from the Chief Marketing Officer and CEO.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Develop high-quality, high-impact content which may include articles, blogs, event materials, web content, video scripts, and social posts.
- Drive multiple, simultaneous content-related projects in a results-focused environment.
- Create, administer and manage content for all social media platforms to build an audience and ensure customer engagement.
- Source relevant content from CCRM thought leaders including physicians, PhDs, and executive team members.
- Work closely with marketing team members and creative partners to assure that content is clinically accurate and promotes the company’s objectives and values.
- Proactively seek information regarding online content and social media trends and best practices to identify opportunities for improvement and areas with competitive advantages.
- Responsible for CCRM’s public image as expressed in social media.

JOB REQUIREMENTS (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS)
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or related field strongly preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 4 years of experience building and executing content-focused marketing. Healthcare-related experience is a plus.
- Experience with SEO to produce keyword-rich content.
- Proficient using social posting programs, such as Hootsuite.
- Adobe Creative Suite experience preferred.
Skills and Abilities
- Exceptional writing, curating and editing skills, with a keen eye for storytelling.
- Strong knowledge of social media channels, social media KPIs and online marketing.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills and a strong command of the English language including perfect grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Possess the ability to translate complicated ideas/subject matter into language that is easily understood by others.
- Strong team player who emphasizes team success over individual success.
- Excellent organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent time-management skills with an exceptional ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Strong ability to exhibit emotional maturity, professionalism, and flexibility to adjust to unexpected assignments, difficulties, and changing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others, presenting a positive attitude at all times.
- Ability to exhibit courteous, compassionate and respectful treatment at all times.
