Job Title: Finance Manager
Salary: $65, 000 - $85, 000 based on experience
Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee all financial aspects of our inflight catering company. The Finance Manager will be responsible for assessing the financial performance of the company, AP/AR, credit card reconciliation, payroll, and financial planning. Our ideal candidate has a food-related background, solid experience in financial management and accounting principles, with excellent analytical skills and a strategic mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all financial operations of the company, including accounting, financial planning, budget management, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and present accurate financial statements, reports, budgets, and forecasts on a regular basis.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
- Develop and monitor business performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Oversee payroll processing and tax planning.
- Manage cash flow and forecasting.
- Monitor investment activities and provide strategies for long-term financial goals.
- Coordinate audit processes and ensure timely completion of audits.
- Evaluate and manage risk associated with financial decisions.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing and collections.
- Reconciliation of credit cards.
- Monitor and manage cash flow to meet operational needs and financial obligations.
- Conduct regular financial audits to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
- Any and all other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Finance Manager, Financial Controller, or similar role preferably in the restaurant related industry.
- Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field; CPA or CFA preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, financial planning, and accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to present financial data and insights clearly.
- Proficiency in financial management software and MS Excel.
- Demonstrated leadership and managerial skills.
- Ability to make strategic decisions and solve complex problems.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and financial standards specific to the hospitality industry.
- Experience with catering-specific financial management and cost control.
- Knowledge of food cost analysis, pricing strategies, and profit margins in catering.
