JOB SUMMARY
The User Acceptance Tester (UAT) plays an essential role in the business and has many duties and responsibilities in place. UAT Lead should create test plans, scenarios, procedures, and scripts daily. They should perform triage, troubleshooting, and analysis of issues submitted by the business users in order to determine if the issue is a defect, enhancement, or user error. UAT should also analyze the test results and report the results to the Development team.
JOB DUTIES
Lead and manage a team of User Acceptance Testers providing triage, analysis of issues, and system guidance for CDCN
Design test plans, scripts, review test results, and processes
Execute various tests on source codes and user interfaces
Meet with the Operations/Product designers to determine business parameters
Overseeing the drafting of testing documents
Implementing testing procedures and overseeing the UAT process
Conducting analysis checks on product specifications
Ensuring the successful deployment of products into the market
Work with the software development team to determine and resolve issues
Tier II support for UAT issues
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or management information systems, seven years’ experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must have experience working with Microsoft tools and technologies to develop custom software solutions
Demonstrated experience in two or more of the following (preferred platform noted in parentheses):
Design and development of custom enterprise software solutions on a cloud platform (Azure)
Business data analytics solutions (Microsoft Power BI)
Cross-platform developer platforms (.NET)
Application development platforms (Microsoft Visual Studio)
Enterprise financial applications (Microsoft Dynamics SL, Workday)
Database platforms (Microsoft SQL Server)
The incumbent typically works in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone, and other office equipment as needed to perform duties. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office. Incumbents may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the workday. The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, handle or feel, and to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 20 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
