What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager, CTS position at CDW?

<\/b> <\/p>

Demonstrate focus in leading the Managed Services Engineering Team to achieve financial, operations, customer satisfaction and coworker targets. The role includes but is not limited to: Understand and align the engineering team to ensure overall Services strategy is implemented through Services teams, which includes building and maintaining key relationships with product development, professional services and sales. Executing on customer service level agreements by utilizing our operational framework and standard operating procedures to meet/exceed overall customer satisfaction. Continuous Service Improvement: includes both process and staff management, using both objective and subjective methods. Includes performance management. Allocating engineering resources to provide technical services to maintain support and optimize customer networks, unified communication environments and security environments. Establish and cultivate a solid working relationship with customers through sales opportunities, quarterly reviews, and especially during support issues. Build and maintain strong relationships with key partner representatives (Cisco, Microsoft, Palo Alto, etc.).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Key Areas of Responsibility: <\/strong><\/u><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Customer Satisfaction:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

    \n Understand customer environments and business needs.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n Meet periodically with customers through sales opportunities, quarterly reviews, and especially during support issues.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n Track, monitor and report Customer Satisfaction Performance Measures, including Customer Satisfaction Surveys.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

    Leadership and Management: <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

      \n Managing workload; prioritizing and assigning resources. Includes review Service Desk queues and related reports.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n Time reporting and related analysis.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n Hiring staff<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n Building and motivating effective teams.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n Delegating responsibilities to appropriate team members.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n Performance management:<\/span><\/span>\n
        \n Consistent feedback, both positive and negative<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n Assessment, both subjective and objective<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n Coaching/mentoring <\/span><\/span><\/li>\n Individual Development Planning (career path, improvement opportunities, training)<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <\/li>\n Maintaining the On-call schedule.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n Work closely with peers to achieve company, department and personal goals<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n Willing to take calculated risks to meet customer needs and department goals<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

        Process Management: <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

          \n Oversee the development, maintenance, and performance of the problem, change and work order processes<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n Deliver Operational Framework and Standard Operating Procedures to staff and ensure adherence through Quality Assurance process<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n Review Operational Framework and Standard Operating Procedures on an on-going basis to identify process and organizational structure gaps.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n Continuous Service Improvement utilizing using key metrics<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

          Communication:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

            \n Regular staff interaction, both written and face-to-face<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n Customer interaction, both written and face-to-face<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n Work collaboratively with other groups and managers to successfully manage customer's expectations and environments<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

            Financial:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

              \n Manage operational costs.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n Plan and budget<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              <\/b> <\/p>

              Minimum  

              \n\n
                \n 7 years of related consulting or IT services delivery experience\n Previous consulting leadership experience required\n\n\n

                Other Required Qualifications

                \n\n
                  \n Process management and improvement\n Experience in ITIL\n Ability to lead teams; gain consensus\n Ability to communicate effectively and concise both orally and written using a variety of styles and techniques appropriate to the audience\n Ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously and adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines\n Proven ability to proactively collaborate and build relationships, take initiative, and creatively problem solve\n Ability to identify and creatively resolve client, project and people issues\n Proven negotiation skills\n Knowledge of Cisco, Microsoft, Palo Alto, and NetApp products and services\n Experience working with branch vendors and business partners\n Ability to lead and manage to ensure attainment of critical results\n Ability to compute, analyze and interpret complex statistical data for reporting purposes and/or to develop forecasts\n Ability to act as a trusted advisor in a strategic partnership\n Able and willing to travel up to 25% or as needed to other CDW locations, meetings or client sites\n Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information. Ability to organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology. Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize. Ability to apply common sense in performing job. Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines. Ability to travel as needed.\n\n\n
