What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Manager position at CEDAR CITY RV?
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the service department
- Manage a team of mechanics and service advisors
- Ensure timely and efficient completion of repairs and maintenance
- Provide exceptional customer service and address customer concerns
- Develop and implement strategies to increase service department revenue
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of parts and supplies
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive service or related field
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair, automotive diagnostics, and air brake systems
- Proven experience in service writing and upselling
- Previous experience in a dealership or automotive service management role is preferred
- Ability to effectively manage a team and prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficient in cash handling procedures
