Cedar Crest Ice Cream is a family owned company that began in 1976. All ice cream production takes place in Manitowoc while our Corporate Office and Distribution Center are located in Cedarburg, WI.
If you are self-motivated and enjoy working in a team environment we would like to talk with you. Cedar Crest Ice Cream has an immediate opening for a full -time Inventory Control Specialist. This position will work out of our Cedarburg Distribution Center.
The position will be responsible for maintaining and keeping accurate records of the organization's inventory and will oversee and assure that all inventory is accurate daily.
Essential functions will include maintaining stock and adjusting counts accurately, provide inventory reports to our finance department, complete route returns, process dock pick up orders and invoices. This position will also be responsible for investigating credits to make sure the inventory numbers support the claim of route shortages, schedule dock pickup appointments and maintain transfer orders by entering them into the system, printing a pick ticket and then removing the order from inventory.
The right candidate will also be required to have experience with computerized inventory systems, forklift operation, inventory control procedures, proficient keyboarding skills and excellent communication skills with both employees and vendors.
