Overview :
A Guest Services Associate provides an excellent guest experience to guest throughout their entire visit at Kings Dominion.
They work within the Guest Services Office, Family Care Center, Mobile Guest Experience Team, and Height Check to provide this exceptional experience.
They foster an excellent guest experience for our guests by providing information and answers to guest questions, as well as resolving guest issues and concerns.
These team members provide exception service for a great first impression.
How You'll Make A Difference :
Communicating the exceptional guest experiences Kings Dominion has to offer.
Assist guests with answering questions and resolving issues with their visit.
Assist guest in recovering lost items and reuniting them with lost parties.
Assist guests who inquire about alternative access to our rides and attractions.
Collaborate with guests to help suggest the best experiences for them to enjoy while visiting the park.
Upsell different options that will help a guest enjoy the park at a greater level.
Assist guest on the go when dispatched to a location in the park to help excel a guests experience.
Work with guests inside the park by hosting special activities that will impact large groups of our guests who are visiting the park.
Assist other departments and the admissions department by selling tickets, cashing out guests at a merchandise or food location, or scanning guest into the park.
Assist the Park Services Team in maintaining cleanliness within the park.
Expanding your communication skills through learning de-escalating guest problems when they encounter them within the park.
We're Looking For :
Less than High School Education
1 Year Related Experience
2 years of customer experience preferred.
Ability to pass a basic math assessment.
Ability to demonstrate proficiency in computer operating systems.
Ability to demonstrate strong communication skills.
Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
Ability to pass a mandatory drug test per company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
Ability to pass a background check if 18 years or older. This background check may include but is not limited to; credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references, per company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
