- Provide advanced analytical support in designated processes by identifying and driving improvement projects
- Support site quality and safety initiatives
- Application of scientific/technical problem solving methods including troubleshooting
- Evaluation of new and current analytical methods and instruments to achieve accurate results, including training others
- Communication of technical and operational ideas and data to other process support groups and operations
- Interpretation of data, including statistical data, to support unit operations and customer support
- B.S Degree in Chemistry
- 5 years of experience as a Process Chemist
- Experience in applying chemistry principles and concepts
- Understanding of analytical techniques including wet chemistry analytical methods and chromatography
- Knowledge of laboratory scale processes such as distillation, extractions, and purification
- Computer software skills, such as Agilent OpenLab, NWA, Sample Manager, etc.
- Knowledge of statistical methods of data evaluation
- Communication skills, both verbal and written to effectively translate technical information to operations team
- Ability to multi-task and function effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
