Description :
Seeking responsible, enthusiastic, and dependable part-time ushers to serve as the first point of contact for patrons attending Celebrity Series performances.
Under the direction of the Marketing Events Manager, the Front of House Ushers are expected to offer the highest level of customer service to all performance attendees, while ensuring their experience is safe and pleasurable.
Ushers are often required to stand for periods of up to 4 hours. Hours are limited and only available when there are events.
Duties include :
- Greeting patrons
- Scanning / verifying tickets
- Directing / escorting patrons to their seats
- Assisting patrons with accessibility needs with respect & care
- Reporting any ticket problems or seating issues quickly to the Marketing Events Manager
- Assisting with load in and break down of materials
- Other duties as assigned by the Marketing Events Manager
Qualifications :
- Strong customer service ethic; experience working with the public preferred
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Committed to advancing equity efforts within the organization
- Celebrity Series requires all staff to be fully vaccinated
