What are the responsibilities and job description for the RFP PROJECT MANAGER (REMOTE) position at Cella?
Cella is looking for a RFP Project Manager to join our client, a food services and facilities management company, for a 6 month contract opportunity with opportunity to be long-term. This role is 100% remote.
The RFP Project Manager will be a hands-on team member of the Content and Proposals team, project managing RFPs from start to finish as well as providing writing support on an as-needed basis. This person will work on the K-12 education business segment - prior K-12 or higher education or university RFP experience is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and monitor the proposal schedule.
- Prepare the proposal outline and compliance matrix.
- Conduct RFP compliance reviews.
- Collaborate with proposal pricing staff to ensure technical and business proposals are consistent and on schedule for delivery.
- Oversee final production and ensuring timely submission of proposals.
- Perform varied proposal management tasks needed in responding to and submitting follow up submissions (responses to questions and final proposal revisions)
- Update and maintain tools, templates, and other content in proposal resources repository.
- Contribute to building, updating, and maintaining proposal databases containing proposals, resumes, and project descriptions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5 years of full life cycle proposal development experience. Experience can be as a Proposal Manager and/or in more junior roles such as Proposal Coordinator or Proposal Specialist.
- Experience with non federal proposals
- Experience with RFPIO
- Preferred - Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP), Foundation-Level
- Preferred - K-12, higher education, or university RFP experience
