Cennox is currently seeking an ATM/Safe Field Service Technician based in the Glen falls, NY area to cover repairs, cleaning, maintenance, and software upgrades on financial equipment in Albany and surrounding areas. This full-time position offers a company vehicle, flexible schedule, opportunity for travel, paid training, and the chance to become part of a rapidly growing company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but not limited to:
- Provide onsite technical support and repairs on ATMs, SmartSafes, and other financial equipment, may include training customers on proper use of equipment
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving product performance issues
- Prioritizing and planning service calls
- Take ownership of your assigned territory and meet service performance goals
- Communicate with Dispatch to maximize productivity. Provide detailed documentation of troubleshooting, repairs performed, parts used, and current status of equipment. Keep reports of service requests and complaints
- Drive company vehicle to various customer locations as directed by Dispatch. Be readily available to accept repair, install, and/or preventative maintenance calls from Dispatch
- Follow material control processes in support of assigned responsibilities (keys, combinations, alarms, parts inventory, etc.)Report defective material or inaccuracies
- Organize and manage paperwork, inventory tools and parts
- Initiate orders for replacement parts and/or for correcting orders (shortages, wrong item shipped, etc.)
- Perform required administrative duties, meetings, parts returns, timesheets, expense reports, and detailed ticket analysis
- Provide weekly vehicle maintenance
- Performs other duties as assigned
Skills/Requirements:
- Smart-phone familiarity and technologically savvy
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Experience with mapping and routing applications such as MapPoint or Google Maps
- Mechanical/technological/electrical aptitude
- Ability to complete the work on small, moving parts accurately and carefully
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to interpret written instructions and documents
- Ability to learn through telephone training

Experience:
- 3 years’ experience with low voltage electronics, mechanical systems, and computer experience
- Experience with alarm/CCTV systems, Safe or ATM technical experience is a plus
- 3 years of previous field service experience, preferred
- Military experience is a plus
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move 50 or more pounds
- Ability to work indoors and outside (including during inclement weather)
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to sit and drive vehicle with extensive travel
- Ability to climb, bend, stoop, and reach freely
- Must have good hand-eye coordination
- Vision correctable to 20/20
- On call weekend rotation
