Job Description

Centauri Insurance is currently seeking to fill the Product Analyst entry level position. The Product Analyst will assist in the development of new and the maintenance of existing personal and/or commercial line programs by performing the following duties.  

Your Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned.

1. Researches products, including rate manuals, forms, and underwriting manuals.
2. Creates monthly and ad hoc reports to support business decisions.
3. Develops clear and concise documentation of activities and methods.
4. Reviews, evaluates, enhances, and refines products.
5. Execution of test plans and defect tracking.
6. Responds to questions by other departments related to rates, product features and underwriting guidelines.
7. Participates in the rate review process, including assisting in the preparation of state filing documents and systems guidance. 
8. Researches and assesses how Centauri compares to competitors and to the overall market.

• Demonstrated business judgement and analytical creativity will make the successful candidate stand out from the crowd.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree is preferred, with a major in Math, Actuarial, Finance or Economics.
• Minimum 1-2 years related experience in a professional environment. 
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.  Knowledge of other Microsoft programs a plus.
