Are you interested in working in the substance use recovery field?


CADT is seeking a highly capable and friendly clinical assistants who want to create a positive experience for patients engaged in our residential substance use treatment programs and our withdrawal management program. In this role, you will be responsible for obtaining patient information and guiding patients on program procedures.


To ensure success, clinical assistants should exhibit a proactive approach toward patient centered care. Outstanding candidates have prior experience working with people in a treatment or residential setting and are able to follow detailed instructions.


Primary Clinical Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Creating a positive experience by welcoming and assisting patients throughout their stay.
  • Preparing patient files by obtaining personal and health information.
  • Promoting patient safety by maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Mediating between patients and providers.
  • Guiding patients through the programs various procedures.


Clinical Assistant Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Must pass background checks in Minnesota, Wisconsin and driving background
  • Must have at least 1 year of freedom from substance use problems
  • Ability to record, monitor, and report a patient's condition to professional personnel.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to assist and reassure patients.
  • Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks as directed by on site supervisors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
