What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver position at Center for Family Health?
The Center for Family Health is a Federally Qualified Health Center located in Jackson Michigan. Our mission is: Opening the Doors to Healthcare for All. We provide primary healthcare and dental services regardless of an individual's ability to pay.
We currently have a Driver position open. This is an hourly, non-exempt full time position.
Position Summary:
Responsible for transporting patients from one facility to another in a timely and safe manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Transport patients from one destination to another through direction of the individual dispatching the patient.
- Makes certain CFH vehicle is in working order, alerting CFH if work is required on CFH van.
- Communicate with patients as to their destination.
- Answer patient questions as appropriate and able, directing them to the correct resource within CFH.
- Use of phone and scheduling software.
- Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work practices and instructions.
Education/Training/Experience:
- Must have a minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
- Must have a Chauffeurs license or have the ability to obtain one.
- Minimum of 1-year experience driving in similar capacity.
