Couples Counselor

Aloha! We are a Hawaii-based Holistic and Integrative Psychotherapy & Psychiatry Center looking for Psychologists/LMHC/LCSW/LMFTs who are trained in specific trauma healing modalities or couples therapy modalities to serve the community of Hawaii. You must have a Hawaiian License for this job.

Come work with your ideal clients and create your own schedule supported by a team of open-hearted and highly-skilled Therapists. We are hiring full-time and part-time (at least 15 client sessions per week) licensed therapists to treat clients in a private practice setting in Kailua, Hawaii on Oahu.

We are a husband and wife team who are both psychotherapists and looking to hire compassionate, caring, highly-skilled Psychologists or Psychotherapists to join our practice as Independent Contractors.

We will provide a fully furnished and beautifully decorated office space, a steady flow of client referrals (as many clients as you want), Group Supervision, incredibly open-hearted Intake Team that takes care of paperwork and up front dealings with clients, easy insurance billing with our practice management software, and a loving and supportive community of highly-skilled and caring therapists to be a part of.

Group Supervision starts with a meditation that we lead outside under the open sky. Then, everyone gets to check in and share how they are doing in their lives and be supported by all of us. Then, we celebrate successes with clients and then bring up any cases or support needed around clients. We all share our wisdom and offerings. We are truly a little Ohana (family) and create lots of connection during this time where we all laugh together and cry together.

We believe our job is to support our Providers to give their soul gifts to the world. We believe therapy is an art and we are here to empower our Therapists to evolve and grow in their art form. We hire rockstar Therapists that we trust and let them do their thing!

Great centrally located Kailua Location: We have 5 newly renovated office suites on the 2nd level of the Davis Building across from Kalapawai Cafe.

The position is for a minimum of 1 year.

Job Responsibilities:

• Providing psychotherapy services
• Scheduling with clients
• Conducting new client intake and assessment
• Taking progress notes on each session
• Collecting and recording payments
• Paying for your own professional liability insurance

Job Requirements:

1. Licensed in the state of Hawaii - You need to have one of these Hawaii Licenses for this position: Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker LCSW, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist LMFT, or Licensed Mental Health Counselor LMHC.

2. Training in a specific Couples Therapy modality such as PACT, EFT, Gottman, Imago, etc.

3. Ideally, trained in a specific trauma healing modality, such as EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy, Somatic Experiencing (SE), Sensorimotor, Brainspotting, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Comprehensive Resource Model (CRM), Integrative Body Psychotherapy (IBP), Instinctual Trauma Response (ITR), etc.
