What are the responsibilities and job description for the Claims Analyst position at Center for Mental Health?
Duties: Implements instructions of Director of IS. Acts as a liaison between the client, employees, and their insurance company. Is responsible for informing the client and the third-party payer of any charges. Help prepare and mail monthly statements. Makes adjustments in accounts receivable for insurance companies and third-party payers. Bills Workers Comp, Medicare, Medicaid, TriCare, VA ,BC/BS and other various funding sources (CSCT Program) in a timely manner. Types letters and reports as required, may prepare daily deposits, performs data entry and researches denials.
Reviews/examines data to process accounts receivable and respond to inquiries from funding agencies and clients. May perform some client eligibility job responsibilities.
A Montana Driver’s License and a personal vehicle with current insurance are required.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications: *The required knowledge and skills are characteristically acquired through completion of high school or GED is required and 1-2 years job related experience is preferred. Knowledge of ICD-9 codes, CPT codes and claims submittal is preferred. Excellent customer service and computer skills. Strong attention to detail, accurate and excellent organizational skills.
