Centerpoint Health is a Federally Qualified Health Center. Due to growth in our behavioral health department, we are looking for a LPCC to join our amazing and growing Team! We provide services in primary health care, dental, Pharmacy, ob-gyn, and behavioral health. We are seeking Family Wellness Counselor LPCC for our Franklin clinic; Monday - Friday.
This position will support the mission and vision of Centerpoint Health by working directly with patients to help them navigate and access Centerpoint Health services while adopting healthy behaviors.
Responsibilities/Skills/Qualifications:
- Ability to proficiently perform case reviews, assessments, diagnoses, and treatments with patients.
- Possess strong working knowledge of evidence-based therapies and services, non-medical assessment, interviewing skills and data collection. Familiarity with statistics preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively within an integrated health care environment.
- Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills when interacting with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
- Ability to work with interruptions, manage priorities, and work unsupervised.
- Ability to be adaptive, flexible, and responsive to the needs of the health center and the needs of patients.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Knowledge and use of Electronic Health Records.
- Working knowledge and counseling of issues related to chemical dependency, integrated medical needs and behavioral health.
- Ability to problem solve and adapt to frequent change as well as have good organizational skills.
- A valid driver license and reliable transportation is required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience:
One year experience as a clinician preferred.
- Bloodborne pathogens category I. Spend significant time standing and have the ability to move around settings of care. Ability to handle stressful situations and capability to use equipment required for the delivery of services.
- This position is contingent upon a successful credentialing, health requirements, background check and drug test.
